Dr. Ghaji Ismaila Bello
Dr. Ghaji Ismaila Bello obtained his first degree in 1981 at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He later attended University of Kent, Canterbury, England from 1983-1985,London school of Economics and political Science, University of London 1986-1990 and The International university of Africa, Khartoum, Sudan.
His work experiences span both the private and public sector. He was Acting Director-General, Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) from November 2012 to June 2013, Executive Director (Support Services), ICRC from 2009-2012 and Special Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in 2009. He also acted as Executive Secretary, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) between 2008 and 2009. Dr. Bello was Chairman, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State from 1994-1996. He also taught briefly in the university and polytechnic as well as a stint in the banking sector.
The Director-General has served in many committees and professional bodies including the Presidential Implementation Committee on Clean Development Mechanism representing NIPC. He has served as member, of Presidential Committee on Cassava Production and Export representing NIPC and as members of National Economic Management Team and Nigeria Institute of International Affairs.
